Start Em’ QB - Andrew Luck IND, Ben Roethlisberger PIT, & Andy Dalton CIN

With the RG3′s fast start, the solid play of Andrew Luck has sort of been pushed to the wayside. Against a tough Packers defense Luck went for over 300 passing yards and now he faces a Jets defense which looks in disarray without Darrelle Revis. Ben Roethlisberger face planted last week against the Eagles, he should rebound nicely this week against the Titans. Andy Dalton manages to always play well against the Browns. He’s guaranteed to find the end zone at least once, if not multiple times.

Sit Em’ QB - Tony Romo DAL, Matt Hasselbeck TEN, & Ryan Fitzpatrick BUF

Tony Romo’s tough slate continues this week versus the Ravens. I don’t think that extra week will help Dallas’s offense. Matt Hasselbeck faces one of the toughest pass defenses in football this week. After watching him last week, I would look elsewhere. Fitzpatrick faces one of the premier defenses in Arizona this week.

Start Em’ RB - Rashard Mendehall PIT, Doug Martin TB, & Jamaal Charles KC

Rashard Mendenhall showed he is back to be a top fantasy back and will reward owners this week facing a Tennessee defense that hasn’t been able to stop any opposing rushers. With an extra week to prepare Tampa Bay should realize that the most effective game plan is for them to give the ball to Doug Martin. Remember before last season when there was a debate on whether or not you should use your first pick on Charles. Jamaal Charles is once again a must start every week.

Sit Em’ RB – Chris Johnson TEN, Alfred Morris WAS, & Steven Jackson STL

It seems like every week that I put Johnson in the sit category he seems to bust out for a big week. Still,  looking at the stats he should be terrible once again this week. The Vikings defense looks to be one of the toughest to run against. This should put a damper on what has been a great season for Morris. You know who is the number one rush defense in football right now? That’s right, the Miami Dolphins. I’m just as surprised as you. Either way that’s not a good sign for Steven Jackson this week.

Start Em’ WR - Torrey Smith BAL, Mike Wallace PIT, & Dwayne Bowe KC

Torrey Smith’s big play ability should be a nightmare against a Dallas defense that struggles against stopping the big play. With how ineffective the Pittsburgh pass offense was last week, I think this is the week they try to get ball back into Mike Wallace’s hands. Dwayne Bowe has done most of his work in garbage time, but that will not be the case this week. This week he will get involved early as Brady Quinn should be a little more consistent.

Sit Em’ WR – Nate Washington TEN, Michael Crabtree SF, & Hakeem Nicks NYG

Nate Washington takes a seat on your bench with an ineffective quarterback and Kenny Britt once again being healthy. Michael Crabtree should have a tougher time finding space this week against a solid Giants pass defense so don’t get sucked into his performance from last week. There are some reports that Hakeem Nicks could play this week. I would have concerns with what his role will be, how effective he will be, and how many plays he will actually be on the field.

Start Em’ TE – Kyle Rudolph MIN & Jermaine Gresham CIN

Kyle Rudolph should once again be put back into your starting lineup. He is by far Christian Ponder’s favorite red zone target. With how Andy Dalton carves up the Browns defense, you should feel confident about putting Gresham into your lineup.

Sit Em’ TE - Brandon Pettigrew DET & Martellus Bennett

Both of these tight ends have injury concerns going into this week and are facing tough defenses. The Eagles defense has done a great job of limiting tight ends. Martellus Bennett’s injury woes are even worse as he has yet to practice this week. Even if he plays he has just a combined 32 total yards of receiving the last two weeks.

Start Em’ DEF - New England & Miami

The Seahawks have only managed to score more than 20 points once this season. Unless they pull the plug on Russell Wilson, that trend should continue. Miami should make life difficult for Sam Bradford, who lost his favorite target this past week in Danny Amendola. I don’t see the Rams passing attack being much of a threat until Amendola returns.

Sit Em’ DEF - Cincinnati & Cleveland

When they matched up earlier this season, they combined for 61 points. Their defenses managed just two turnovers and two sacks combined. That’s not what you are looking for out of your fantasy defenses.

Lock of the Week – Larry Fitzgerald 100 receiving yards 1 TD

Buffalo’s pass defense, which should be much improved, has been god awful. Larry Fitzgerald should take advantage of this generous matchup and have a big week.

Intriguing matchup of the week – Peyton Manning vs. San Diego Chargers

In his career Peyton Manning has always  seemed to struggle against the San Diego Chargers. It’s the only team he has thrown more picks than touchdown against. Will the same trend continue with Manning now a Denver Bronco? Only time will tell.
