Forbes: Louisville Second Best Housing Market in America
By: Carl H | March 1st, 2010 | Category: Politics As UsualAccording to Forbes.com, the city of Louisville is the second best housing market in America behind only Pittsburgh, PA.
Louisville, Ky., a city whose low foreclosure rate — only 1.15 percent of homes are in foreclosure, half the national average — illuminates it as one of the cities least affected by this aspect of the dramatic housing market collapse of the past three years. Louisville had less of a market boom than coastal cities and vacation destinations, so it didn’t have as far to fall.
St. Louis, Missouri came in eighth; Columbus, Ohio sixth and Indianapolis, Indiana fifth.

PETA chastizes Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried”
By: Carl H | February 5th, 2010 | Category: Hilariousness - Politics As UsualThese people are simply amazing. There is no possible way anyone could put this statement together and not crack up. Seriously. It’s real.
A while back they went after President Obama for swatting a fly. Now, here is an excerpt from a letter PETA sent in response to the Grammy award winning Zac Brown Band’s song “Chicken Fried”. Again, it is real.
“In your song ‘Chicken Fried,’ you praise the simple pleasures of life — a cool drink, a home filled with love, enjoying the sunshine — all pastimes denied to the millions of cows, pigs, chickens, and other animals raised for food on factory farms every year.”
Uncouth. PETA is good for one thing though… poster campaigns!!!

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day
By: nickev | January 18th, 2010 | Category: Politics As UsualOn this Monday, we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. A man, who changed the world, not with violence, but with his words.
Don’t thank Martin Luther King for giving you a random Monday off of work in January. Thank Martin Luther King for changing the world and making it a better place.
Here is an excerpt from King’s famed “I Have a Dream” speech and the entire speech is below via YouTube. Read it. Watch it.
And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of “interposition” and “nullification” — one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; “and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.”
Happy Veterans Day from Ed Rusher
By: nickev | November 11th, 2009 | Category: Politics As Usual - VideosI love this country and I love Ed Rusher loving this country. However, Mr. Rusher is not too fond of our sarcastic love of his work. He emailed us back in February cussing us out for ridiculing his song. Read his cussage outage by clicking here.
Fact is, I don’t think most of us even realize how lucky we are that we live in this great Country. We as Americans are truly blessed and should thank people, like Mr. Rusher, for giving us the freedoms that we cherish so much.
Still your singing…not that good.
Happy Veterans Day!
Celebrate…It’s Columbus Day
By: nickev | October 12th, 2009 | Category: Politics As UsualIn 1492, Christopher Columbus used the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria to sail the Ocean Blue. Here is a little history lesson.
Obama Calls Kanye West A Jackass
By: Carl H | September 16th, 2009 | Category: Politics As Usual - VideosI’ve never particularly loved Kanye, he definitely has talent, but he is also a definite jackass. Here’s the original video of the incident betwix Taylor Swift (UH YUMP!!!) and Kanye West at the MTV VMAs, followed by President Obama’s take on the whole situation.
Obama Sneakin’ A Peek
By: Carl H | July 10th, 2009 | Category: Politics As UsualWhile the Commander-In-Chief shows uncanny, almost unhuman like restraint in the photog on the left (although French President Nicolas Sarkozy can’t say the same; the man is grinnin’ like an eight year old that just farted..), Obama can’t resist doin’ a double take as pretty in pink strolls on by . . . And honestly, who can resist???
Old Dude on Fox News honestly says U.S. needs Osama Bin Laden to Attack
By: nickev | July 2nd, 2009 | Category: Politics As Usual - VideosI am not getting into politics on this site but this is just absolutely, unbelievably ridiculous. Dude has to be completely and utterly off of his rocker.
Anyways, this old, scruffy Santa Claus lookin’ dude named Michael Scheuer honestly says and I quote, “The only chance we have as a country, right now, is for Osama Bin Laden to deploy and to detonate a major weapon in the United States”.
How does this even make a lick of sense? I don’t even want to delve into it deeper and discuss it. It is unfathomable.
And then the host, some guy named Glenn Beck, agrees with it and says this after he nods, “Which is why I was thinking this weekend, if I were him (Bin Laden), that (attack the U.S.) would be the last thing I would do right now”.
According to these morans, I guess not getting attacked is a bad thing. Unreal.
